FCT Contract

Post by concrete »

Good afternoon,

I sent the grant contract, together with all originals, to FCT by post on 1st February. So far, the contract hasn’t been returned. I have some questions regarding the FCT contract:
(1) I sent the documents to the following address: FCT-Loja do Cientista, Av. D. Carlos I, 124-J, 1249-074 LISBOA, Portugal. Is it a right mailing address of FCT?
(2) How long does it take for FCT to return the signed contract? When the contract is sent from FCT, will the grant fellow be informed by Email?

Thanks very much.

Hi,

about the address, I think it's alright. The time to return the signed contract depends on the number of processes they have to look at a given moment. I signed mine in person on February 3rd and I still didn't received it. Try calling them to see if your process was already handled (I called them yesterday and mine was handled last Friday - February 26th).

cheers,

BN.

Congratulation and Thanks for the information. I'm still waiting for the contract. I'm in italy, so it may take some days for the mail arrival.

It's very difficult to contact FCT. I have Emailed to FCT, but received no response; and I tried to call FCT, but the line was always busy.

I agree to you that it's very difficult to contact FCT - they barely answer email, and the phone is always busy - the best way to talk to them is to use your phone's speed dial functionality, and be patient - last week, it took me 128 tries to be able to talk to someone.

Good luck with your process!

cheers,

BN.

It's always like that... It's simply annoying... You try to call and it's always busy... And when it's not the "voice mail" answers and you pay the call... I'm not in Portugal and already spent a lot of money thanks to that because I really had to contact them... :| :| :|
