“ISISE – Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering” is searching for a scholarship fellow to carry out research in the field of Civil Engineering – Sustainable Steel Construction.
Type of Activity:
- Research.
Scope:
- Thermal behaviour and energy efficiency of buildings;
- Calculation of energy use for space heating and cooling;
- Heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
Requirements:
- To hold a Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering Master Degree and knowledge/experience in this area.
Funding:
- Research project scholarship.
Period of Activity:
- 1 year, eventually renewable.
Monthly maintenance stipend:
980€
Place to carry out the work:
- Department of Civil Engineering – University of Coimbra;
Activity regime:
- Grant contracts do not create legal relationships of an employment or service provider nature and are thus exempt from income tax in the absence of a tax rule governing them. The work of the grant recipient falls under the regime of exclusive dedication, under the terms expressly set forth in the Research Grant Holder Statute of the University of Coimbra.
